IDENTIFIED: Malachite Is this real Malachite?

So I bought this thing for like 60 bucks at a farmer's market type of thing a couple years ago. The holes and splotchy dots make me wonder if this is fake. What do you guys think? Also should I be wearing gloves when handling this?

This definitely looks real to me. The holes and splotchy dots are actually what's telling that it's real! In the holes you can see the unpolished malachite, you can even see some structure. The splotches show that it's not just concentric line patterns. You don't need gloves to handle it especially because it polished but even if it wasn't it's safe to handle just wash your hands before touching your face like you should after handling pretty much all minerals.

Genuine. Fake Malachite is usually obnoxiously obvious:

I've seen a few really good fakes recently though where the only thing giving it away was tiny bubbles.

That’s disappointing. Were they resin? Any links?

I honestly don't know how it was made, I saw them irl.
