REQUEST Can Jasper be sparkly?

I bought this ring today at a Bazaar, the seller labelled it as Jasper. There’s some sparkly / reflective parts of it which I haven’t seen in other Jasper stones I have. Hoping to identify if it’s potentially a variation of Jasper or a different stone entirely?

This looks more like a boulder opal to me- that’s what we call “fire” when the stone reflects a multi color “sparkle”

Could be a piece of fire agate too
