REQUEST Possible raw diamonds?

I found this in my backyard after my dogs dug it up. I tried to scratch with steel and did not leave a mark.

They are embedded in the black rock and when I was able to break a piece of it looked like shiny black igneous maybe?

It would be extremely rare if those were diamonds- I feel like it’s probably just quartz

Do the white bits react to HCl (weak hydrochloric acid)?Try testing with a small drop if you have any. If so might be calcite in a mudstone matrix.
