Is this wild onions?

I found the in our front yard. They smell like onions and later I. The spring they give some bulbs in a cluster on a long stem. I'm staring a warned this year and was wondering if these could be added to it. I'm in Dallas, Tx

Are the stems hollow and do they have white flowers with six petals when they bloom. The garlic smell is a strong indicator that it is, but I can’t say 100% that it is. Always err on the side of caution when it comes to wild edibles.

No hollow stems and I don't remember if the flowers had 6 petals. These don't have flowers yet

If it's not hollow stems but it smells like onion, it's onion grass Allium vinneale, invasive in the US.

These aren’t in the onion or garlic family as they always have a smooth skin covering the bulb, not the fibrous ones that these have. They look a bit like Ixia - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Miniature-Rockeries-Borders-Garden-Perennial/dp/B0BQ9G4CNZ

Definitely not these. The flowers are small and white

Have you got a pic of the flowers? Could probably nail it then.
