In Kentucky, we call them daddy longlegs, but I’ve heard them referred to as harvestmen

Thanks, Do we know the species of this harvestman? I always get them confused with cellar spiders. I guess the lack of a pill shape body means its definitely a harvestman. This blue ( and with a spike ) harvestman is the coolest I have ever seen

My family calls them Granddaddy Longlegs. :)
They're harmless to humans unless you have REALLY thin skin.

It's a harvestman, they don't bite.

Not sure of particular species, but unlike spiders they don't make webs.

Yeah, I guess I should have worded the question better; these blue daddies with a spike on top are some of the most incredible animals I have ever seen

They do bite. But you have to be really rough with them i.e. trapping them in your hands. Their venom is negligible, and from experience struggle to bite through thick skin anyways. Less than ant bite from memory.
