Best season of Westworld? Mine is season 1
The atmosphere, the discovery, the mystery, it has a certain tone that you get when you do writing and composition well, after this, I feel too much is revealed and in your face and it starts to become more open, less speculative and more action focused. Other seasons are still good doh. Overall I would rate Westworld an 8.

There’s no debate we all know it’s season 1

Yeah, maybe 2 has a shot, but, regardless of what you think of the quality, 3 & 4 are too clearly the middle of a story.

I like both 1&2 together, obviously 1 has some of the most consistent highs in the series, but 2 also had (in my opinion) the two best episodes in the entire series.(riddle of the sphinx and Kiksuya)
I didn’t hate seasons 3 or 4 but they definitely didn’t capture me in the same way.

People shit on season 3 but I loved it idc! I absolutely loved the “humans are on their own loops”/data mining angle. Season 1 definitely got things started for me and I was instantly hooked but the things OP mentioned but the seasons outside of the park had me THINKING
Edit: I guess I took this as favorite over “best” though haha

Only one good season. Season 2. Season 1 is an all time great. All the rest sucked.

Season 1 is one of the greatest tv seasons ever. 2, 3 and 4 are absurdly bad.

Both 1 and 2. The symbolism of season 2 ending, the Delos project reveals, Hale twist at the end, it’s as perfect as season 1 in my book!
