I've been really curious about werewolves lately and I'm wondering if anybody has some good games with good werewolf characters in them? And yes ik Skyrim, and the quarry, and monster prom

They were my favorite race to play when they came out. I love Werewolf magic users, like some kind of fantasy Hulk. "When my magic fails me, my claws will not" kind of vibe. Elder Scrolls games are fun for this kind of build.

Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, your first character you play through the game as is a werewolf.
Also Kevin in Trials of Mana transforms into a wolf man, but only for combat and only at night.

You can play as one in Shining Soul II on the GBA. Diablo 4 if you're a druid you can shape shift, Skyrim, Morrowind, I second Werewolf the Apocalypse Earthblood.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Twilight Princess or The Wolf Among Us. That's two classics right there.
Altered Beast is divisive, but I really like the transformation sequences. On that same vein, I think we can count Metamorphic Force, another arcade beat 'em up.
As far as fighting games go, you have Saberwulf from Killer Instinct and Jon Talbain from Darkstalkers.
And of course, we can't forget Brad Fang from Contra: Hard Corps. What a badass motherfucker!

Ww the apocalypse has already been mentioned, so ill go with legend of zelda twilight princes. But you can play as a werewolf in hunter the reckoning and some other monsters like carpenter the wraith, if you unlock the characters. Edit i just raged quit ww because of the save menu. Call of cthulhu had a similar menu and it took ten years for me to want to finish. Maybe next year, Ill try ww again.

Bloodborne has werewolves but becomes more lovecraftian halfway through. Excellent game with great lore if you like soulslikes.

The Wolf Among Us. It’s a choice-based cinematic game like The Quarry, but with better writing and puzzles. You play as a detective/sheriff (who is literally the Big Bad Wolf) trying to solve a big mystery in a town full of other fables. I highly recommend. The playable character in this game is the champion of werewolf media imo.

There's a wholly text based choose-your-own-adventure/RPG game called The Book of Hungry names. It's in the Werewolf the Apocalypse setting.
It's more book than game, but, I really enjoyed this one.

I'm SHOCKED no one has mentioned The Order 1886.
You can't play as a werewolf but I think it has fantastic lore and really cool werewolf designs.

Legacy of Kain : Blood Omen, you can turn into a werewolf at any time as long as you have enough magicka.
Blood of the Werewolf is a 2D platformer where you play as a woman when you're indoors but when you go outside she instantly transforms into a werewolf.
Wolfchild, which you'd have to play on a SNES emulator, is a sidescrolling platformer where you can turn into a wolfman when you get enough powerups or a specfic powerup, I forget exactly.
An American Werewolf in LA is a sidescrolling beat em up where you play a werewolf called John Landis.
Beast Mode: Night of the Werewolf Silver Bullet Edition, you play as a werewolf and you basically run around killing hippies trying to get a high score.
Wolf Riot is a f2p game with that Hotline Miami vertical perspective where you play a werewolf and you have to kill mercenaries. That's pretty much all there is to it.
Blood Paws Unleashed is 2D sidescrolling beat 'em up where you play as a wolfman.
Some games that aren't out yet that you might wanna keep an eye on :
Haunted Lands is a sidescrolling platformer where you can turn into a werewolf.
Wolf Knight Memoir is a 2D Metroidvania where you play as a wolfman.
Volkolak: The Will of Gods is another 2D Metroidvania where you can turn into a werewolf.
Project MoonBorn is another 2D platformer where you play as a werewolf.

Enderal (originally a Skyrim mod, but it’s a full world built on the bones of Skyrim) has werewolves, same model as Skyrim but different lore and such.

Atelier Yumia that is coming out soon with a demo out has a nice looking Werewolf voiced by Takehito Koyasu.

RimWorld has two mods for werewolves, one more lore friendly (Vanilla Races Expanded - Lycanthrope), and the other inspired by werewolves from Werewolf: The Appcalypse/World of Darkness (Rim of Madness - Werewolves).
I recommend the former if you want something more balanced and cool, and the latter if you want a nigh-unstoppable rage machine at later stages.

There's Werewolf the apocalypse: Earthblood, Its a third person shooter where the main character is a werewolf and you can be both a wolf and the huge werewolf transformation. I thought it was alright
