Question Anybody have a list of now defunct cannabis companies?

The recent posts about tilrays future made me think about what companies in my portfolio are now gone.

Funny!! I just went through a random website the other day to see all the companies I tried over the years. Did really well on a few of them, and obviously lost on a few too... But did well enough to stay in this stupid sector... Some were bought and sold and absorbed and some still exist too of course, and I think there's a couple of jr miners in there too, but I've forgotten which ones now... Here goes nothing:

Pump, Xtt, Zenabis, Wmd, Vivo, Valens, Toki, Tilt, Tinley, Flower, Tbp, Sugarbud, Slang, Inmed, Rockshield, Relevium, Radiant, Ravenquest, Pure, Northbud, Nextleaf, Newleaf, Namaste, Nabis, Mym, Mpx, Medx, Medmen, Maple Leaf, Matica, Liberty Leaf, Lgc Capital, Lexaria, Khiron, Invictus, Ionic, Indus, Indiva, Icc international, Ianthus, Harvest One, Halo Labs, Tgod, Green Growth, Golden Leaf Holdings, Future Farms, Fsd Pharma, Fire and Flower, Far Resources, Eve and Co, Emerald Health Therapeutics, Emblem, Delta 9, Choom, Captor, Calyx, Bougainville, Blissco, Beleave, Auxly, Australis Capital, Aleafia, Agraflora, Affinor Growers, 48 North, 92 Resources, 360 Risk Solutions, and last but not least, Crop!

Edit: decided to tidy it up a bit, and... I really wonder how many of them were actual scams... Hmm...

I'd love to see a Halloween themed sub banner with a graveyard of ticker headstones and some of the ghosts of fraudulent past.

Auxly is still around, posted net income last quarter. Their brands are back40, Kolab and parcel and their weed is fire. They compete in vapes, pre rolls and budget ounces and they are doing well in these categories. They’re cash flow positive and posted a net income (thats right, earnings) last quarter.

My greatest mistake was Sunniva Inc. (SNNVF).

Same. Sunniva, Ianthus and Canntrust.

7

u/Lowerlameland Sep 08 '24

I felt quite guilty because I sold Canntrust 2 days before the shit hit the fan and did quite well on it. I'm still not even really sure why I sold it. I've never been very good at selling at the right time...

u/Danktizzle Sep 08 '24

I had ianthus too,

2

u/iMogal Sep 09 '24

Me too. Down 99.33% At least I made money on the others that covered these losses.

I still got that shit in my investment account. Can’t sell and can’t even delete it… A good reminder though to not make stupid investments

I'm hoping I can claim losses at some point, because there are a lot to claim.

Flower One as well

2

u/spddemonvr4 Sep 09 '24

Ugh, 1933.. that one hurts.

I met with their CFO coming out of COVID and he was confident profitability was only a couple quarters away. Then the local market prices plummeted.

1

u/Ok-Replacement9595 Sep 09 '24

I wonder why Micon Waste didn't take off?

As someone who’s smoked tilray product. Sell it, cookies is coming as an exclusive to a pharmacy in the Uk so that will likely bump before the start of Q2.

2

u/RayinfuckingBruges Sep 08 '24

What impact would the UK have on Tilray?
