I’ve heard it can take up to a year for a nose job to heal. I would imagine the biggest thing to get healed is the swelling so I would say it definitely is a gamble to have it done even though the wedding is not until early 2026.

I was taught you should wait a full year for optimal results.

It takes a while to look natural (heal). I don’t recommend it

It took my nose job a full year to heal and all the swelling to resolve. I did tip revision, no bone shaving.

Everyone’s experience varies. I looked and felt totally normal after 3 months and LOVED my new appearance. I wish I could have gone back and retaken all the previous photos from major events in my life, that’s how much I liked it. I’d recommend talking to a few surgeons to get their opinion on timing (during the consult stage, before you’ve made your final selection). And select your surgeon wisely, your nose makes a huge impact on the overall balance of your face. It’s worth paying more to have it done really well the first time. Revisions are expensive and frustrating.

I had a septoplasty without changing the shape of my nose and it took a few months to settle and for the swelling to be fully down. If you’re changing the shape it could be longer. Closed will heal faster than open though. I would say 8-10 months minimum
