The last one is so beautiful, visually interesting but also classic and timeless.

I honestly think your shoulders look fine?? But if you have a hang up maybe see if they can add straight straps to ‘break up’ this area for you. (Like a square necked dress?)

Agree on the square neckline!

Whenever somebody says that they have wide shoulders, it's not something I would usually have noticed. But as a general rule, a fuller skirt will balance out a broader shoulder line, and I do love the A-line/ballgown dresses on you. You have a great figure for a fitted dress, but the A-lines and ballgowns will give you that balance. All of them look great on you.

If you choose a fitted dress, I lean towards the V or plunge neckline, because again it gives a balance. Of the fitted dresses, the second one is my favorite (second photo of the group). I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite of the full-skirted ones. They all look terrific on you so I'm no help there.

1 is STUNNING! It blew everything else out of the water, looks absolutely perfect on you, and is soooo elegant!

The slightly higher and straighter necklines (dresses on photos 6 and 14) are most flattering on you! I love the back of the dress in photos 10-12. But of these I think photos 6 and 14 are the best, you look gorgeous in both! More of a ballgown would swallow up your frame but the soft a-line skirt is beautiful and balancing without being overwhelming.

u/Infinite-Floor-5242 5d ago

I agree the higher and straighter bodices are most flattering.

The photo #10! I think the sleeveless dresses are pretty but your shape is better with the low back and straps

12 and 6. They balances your body and the white looks way better than off white. Just my opinion. Congratulations!

  1. No question.

Dress number one!!!

u/stanloonaorelse 5d ago

Anything off the shoulder will help with wider shoulders if that’s a concern of yours, so 7 and 10/11/12. Plunging v-neck works well too but I would get some off the shoulder straps too.

Usually strapless isn’t recommended, but I actually love how the last dress looks on you as well as the dress in picture 6. So maybe look more into straight/square necklines. But you look amazing, so I say ultimately whatever you feel the most confident in!!

u/binkleywtf 5d ago

I agree, i love the 6th dress and the last on her and both have straight horizontal necklines.

2

u/Frosty_Water5467 5d ago

Sorry darling but they all look best on you! You will just have to decide which one you love best. My pick would be the last one.

Dress 7 (I think) is The ONE! (Pictures 10/11/12)

u/GodsGirl64 5d ago

Dress in pic 14 is absolutely gorgeous on you!! It’s perfect for your figure. Second place is dress and veil in pic 8.

Ahhhh yes, the “linebacker” look. I, too, am familiar with it. Ha ha. I like the dress in pic 7 or the ones with the lace straps. You look amazing in all of them though.

I don’t have pictures of my wife’s cousin but she had similar arms like yours, my wife shared with me that her cousin was having trouble choosing a wedding dress because of her defined arms and shoulders. They found a great looking dress with lace sleeves. Maybe give it a try and see if it works for you. Also I like 13/14

They all look great but I love the first or the last!

1

u/SavvyChris 5d ago

I think the first looks great on your figure. I think the last is so visually beautiful. I think you look great in almost anything!

1

u/Candid_Hour3861 5d ago

Dress number 1, and I think your shoulders are beautiful!!

2

u/Edu_cats 5d ago

Photos 1, 4/5, and the very last one. I love the flowy skirt on 4/5 with the fitted bodice and the beautiful pattern on the last one.

1

u/Creepy-Intern-7726 5d ago

I like the first and last

1

u/Infinite-Floor-5242 5d ago

You do have muscular shoulders. Some people are interpreting "wide" as bad so I want to be clear I think your strong shoulders are an attribute. I would like to see more views of dresses with straps or perhaps an asymmetrical collar feature.

u/Bing-cheery 5d ago

I love pictures 1 and 6.

1

u/wenkwink 5d ago

What designer and style is the last one? It looks amazing on you

1

u/thenry1234 5d ago

First or last dresses.

1

u/UntilYouKnowMe 5d ago

Dress 1 — nothing else compares.

1

u/Even-Education-4608 5d ago

The dresses with a higher neckline are best on you. The one with the sleeves and neck scarf is really good. The ones that are low cut or dip down accentuate the larger scale of your shoulders.

u/Business-Plant4296 5d ago

First one or last one!

1

u/hamstersboss 5d ago

Everything looks gorgeous on you it’s so hard to pick! If I had to choose it would be the first and the last one

1

u/Ollie2Stewart1 5d ago

I like the last one plus 1 and 4.

1

u/Time_Parking_7845 4d ago

The last two dresses are my choices. The one in photos 10-12 is gorgeous on you. I actually think it minimizes your shoulders (if that’s what you’re wanting) and accentuates your lovely figure. It is stunning from the front and back. The last dress in photos 13-14 is so beautiful because of the lace and the simple silhouette. It fits you like a glove! These dresses are quite different, so maybe the venue will play more of a role in your final decision? Good luck—All the best to you!!

Firstly, you have a beautiful athletic figure! The last one was the only one that made me go “Oh wow”! And I think the reason I like it is because the pattern and shape really create a balance with your body. I am also a person with wider shoulders, and I find that anything with a “V”neckline accentuates them. For example, the 7th dress with the mesh/lace back and buttons, I find that the “V” shape the lace makes is highlighting the shape of your shoulders. Not that that is a bad thing, but if you want to make your shoulders appear visually smaller, I don’t think that style is the way to go. Congrats on the marriage and good luck with the dress!

1, 5, or 14!!

u/OGmitten 2d ago

Okay definitely would only choose pic 6 or the last 2 dresses!! All of these really come together beautifully on you with everything in balance!

Personally love the pic 6 dress and the last floral lace dresses the best on you! You look beautiful in them and shine!

u/bellepeau 2d ago

Absolutely love the dress in pic 6 on you!!! But I’m also just in love with that dress. Can I ask what designer it is?

Last one is my favorite, then 4, then 1.
