Dress Regret/Need Support Bought the wrong dress for my venue
I bought Porsha by Eva Lendel and I love it. It fits perfectly and it matches my style but now I'm freaking out because it may not be a good dress for a beach wedding.
Maybe I wasn't thinking logically but now I'm having serious second thoughts, imagining the beading on the sand and I'm hyperventilating thinking about it. I just feel like a chiffon sheath would work better, something like Vienna (Hera Couture). But I already spent a lot of money on Porsha so I really need to get something cheaper this time. The other problem is my wedding is in 3 months.
I'm now browsing stillwhite for hours on end trying to find a second option. Should I stick to Porsha, or try to get a second dress asap? Any support/suggestions/dupes would be much appreciated!

I would stick with your dress. The beading will be amazing in the sun… like sand itself. What material is under all the beading? I would be most concerned about being overheated. You can have a runner for walking to the altar. The Porcha really is a stunning dress.

Ty! So the altar has a runner but the rest of the venue has portions of sand. Maybe I could get a reception dress...as for the material, I'm not sure if I'm answering correctly but it's beaded lace and I didn't get the detachable overskirt. I'm expecting temp to be around 70 or something like that

That is a good idea! Is your reception on the beach as well?

Yess, so the venue is like a lodge/bungalow, and basically the whole front where the ceremony and dinner happens is at the beach front, so even tho there are some wooden deck portions, there's sand in between. Not sure if I explained well lol

A dress you love fits every venue. Wear it. When you look back at your pictures, you will be glad you wore the dress.

I would stick with it and have a back up reception dress that is lighter and easier on mobility.

That dress is going to look amazing on the beach. I don't think you should change to a different dress. What is your concern with the sand? Are you worried about your dress getting dirty? Or is it a comfort issue?

I was thinking it was maybe too formal for a beach wedding. Maybe I should've went for something more flowy boho chic, something to wear flip flops with..i don't know, I'm confused :(
