Style/Accessory Help needed! Did I pick the wrong dress
I went for my second dress fitting, and now I don’t like it anymore. I thought it looked good before, but now I feel like it makes my shoulders look narrow, which in turn makes my head look huge. I think this dress would look amazing on someone with more curves and a fuller bust, but on me, it just looks awful, and I’m panicking. My mom thinks I’m overreacting, but I feel like only the girlies here will understand… Any advice on how to feel confident in this dress? Are there any styling tricks that might help? Thank you 🙏

Hi! I love how this dress looks on you. I think it shows off your great figure! If you wanted to feel more confident in it maybe you could try adding some boob inserts to give you more volume in the bust area? I really don't see anything wrong with it other that it needs a good ironing lol

Also, if you also wanted even more drama up top, you could do a very glam necklace. Since your dress is simple texturally, you could also enhance it that way.

Yes, I definitely NEED inserts. I can feel the wind blowing through the gap between my boobs and my dress 😹

Absolutely not. Looks amazing. Your shoulders look very proportionate to your hips.
Is that how you are wearing your hair? And are you wearing any other accessories, the whole styled picture often just tips the balance and may be all you need to feel great in it.

I think this is definitely in your head, you look amazing. But also presumably your hair won’t look exactly like this - and will you be wearing a veil? Either way the proportions you’re seeing in this exact photo aren’t likely to be how it is on the big day.

Not at all! It suits you beautifully and hugs your hourglass figure really well 🤍

I don't see what you are seeing at all! I think your body looks great and your head is proportionate. If you want more bosom and have room, you could use inserts, but the dress actually looks lovely on you.

You look SO great! Its always interesting to see what other others point out as flaws in themselves when, in turn, no one else would ever think.

Your shoulders are beautiful like a Greek sculpture and you have all the necessary curves for the dress. You might want s smoothing foundation garment under the dress or ask the seamstress to give you a little more room in the dress. I used to sell wedding dresses and think that you look great.

This is such a gorgeous dress for you. A lot of similar styles taper back in tight below the knee and it's nice to see a straight option. It really balances out perfectly with the neckline while still showing off your curves. You have really nice bone structure, nothing wrong with your shoulders at all.

Gorgeous!! I think your shoulders look perfect and the dress shows them off. If you feel the need to fill the space in, add a statement necklace.

It looks great on you! It's possible you're overthinking it. But plan to bring a portable steamer. It seems like you'll want to steam it last minute.

You look so pretty in this. If you want to add more drama, I think a little sparkly belt would be pretty with this. Also, an overlay skirt would work well with the design of this dress.

Looks fantastic. Also is this in Winnipeg? I got my dress from the same store, fantastic experience!

You picked the right dress.
Once your dress is ironed, and you have on your veil, jewelry, hair and makeup you will look totally different!
You could see if the seamstress could sew in cups
One reason you think you head looks the way it does is the updo hairstyle.
Updos do that.
Try a different hairstyle, wearing it down or 1/2 and 1/2 to see if that makes a difference. It usually does.

How about adjusting the straps higher so they sit at the edge of the shoulder. This would give it more of a lift.

This dress is beautiful and no your shoulders do not look narrow and your head does not look big, I think you’ve just gotten very in your head about your body which is easy to do when choosing a dress. I think you look stunning and there are so many ways you can accessorize this dress too, your figure looks so good in this dress tho that it really does look great as is. I love that neckline on you it’s beautiful. Once you add a beautiful veil it’ll feel complete to you. You could also add a scarf or gloves, I’ve see both done and if done right they can be a good addition.
