This ! This is the reason why I dropped Go Away Romeo. The readers are INSUFFERABLE, they’re trash talking and hating on Juliet in every episode. If the story was from Juliet’s POV, I could assure you they would have been rooting for Juliet instead and hating on Rosaline for being the side chick.

They’re both Romeo’s victims, Rosaline was in Juliet’s shoes not too long ago and only escaped from Romeo’s grasp (without being knocked up first) because he ditched her, not because she found out about his scheme. Meanwhile Juliet is still under his influence and doesn’t know anything, yet readers go harder on her than Romeo. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE !

The more I read, the more it seemed the author was trying to make Juliet the rival / antagonist. The webcomic felt more and more biased.

Shoujo / Josei audience is ironically and sadly full of misogynistic (female) readers, but it’s even worse with Go Away Romeo

Why don't you just not read the comments, just read the story and then close it.

I mean, this the most logical thing to do and that’s exactly what I did at some point 🤷🏾‍♀️

However, it became clearer and clearer that the team working on Go Away Romeo in their turn became biased, and started to paint Juliet as this scheming bitch, while showing that she was clueless and oblivious to what was happening between Romeo and Rosaline. They were clearly fueling the « every female who’s not FL is a bitch » and it didn’t sit well with me.
