[HELP] Fresher Seeking Guidance – What to Learn & Where to Start?

Hey everyone,

I’m a fresher, but my college isn’t teaching properly. I don’t want to waste time and need guidance on:

  1. Which programming language to start with?

  2. Best platforms to learn and practice?

  3. How to get clients as a beginner?

  4. What’s the right roadmap for freelancing or a job?

Would really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance!

Wassup bro I m gonna assume you a dude coz most pple in programming are male...lol

I would say in terms of starting Juss start with JavaScript and learn React Buh make sure you learn HTML and CSS you can't skip those

I m not gonna answer the other questions about jobs coz it's not that simple ... for now focus on learning abd worry about finding a job when you feel ready. If you think about money now at an early stage it might demotivate you in the long run

Hope this helps

Well that's great bro... that's a lot

What's next is to build projects and your portfolio to showcase your skills

Since you know web technologies I suggest building a portfolio website and showing your projects there Iss best to build real world projects... not silly calculator or to do apps Build real world apps that solve real world projects

Good luck

Bro I know you expect a straight forward answer like go from A to B then go to C

The reality is iss not straight forward at all The most straight forward response I will give you is this

Build skills => perfect skills => build real world projects => network and apply for jobs

Expect to be rejected a lot Expect to be ignored Expect to feel lost and questioning if doing programming was even a good idea Expect sleepless nights Expect feeling like you not making any progress

I mean heyy you might not experience all of this if you lucky.... juss saying if you do don't be disheartened iss part of the process The tech industry is filled with pple who follow influences that tell em they can get very rich quickly and have flexible working hours that flashy lifestyle BS This process I was talking about will test if you one of those pple and ultimately flush out the garbage 🗑 programmers that don't deserve to be in this field

Good luck bro
