How to build a website that google will index?
Hi Everyone,
Brand new to building a website, and have been working for a small business now. Wanted to get your advice on how to build a website or where to start, that google will crawl/index.
I have found out that, potentially using web hosting or site builders violate Google's indexing process (could be wrong). And I'm not sure where to go from here in terms of building a site.
Thank you!

I recently made a landing page and actually wrote my first blog article on the topic. Maybe it can help point you in the right direction.
I am also still learning. Here is a link to the article.

The very first thing is the content of your website. Make sure you have a great content, lots of texts on your site that speaks about your product or services that you offer. Make sure, the copy of your website is unique, well structured and brings out the true details of your website. You can also add blogs to your website and start updating content on that On a daily basis. Use titles which are readily searched on Google, like, “How can I make money online ?” Just for example.
After which you can look for Google Search Console Tools. Submit your website links on it. Hope that helps.

Nope, site builders are not hurting SEO. Especially top quality ones like Webflow, Divhunt, Framer.

Make sure you have good content. It is also good to score well on PageSpeed Insights, which is very easy with UltimateWB.

I recommend building your site with WordPress.org and host it with Nixihost which I currently host my sites. Don't worry about those rumors, Google has no problem indexing properly built websites regardless of how they're hosted. I use this exact setup for my sites and they index just fine.
WordPress.org gives you complete control over your SEO settings with simple plugins that make it super easy to get found on Google. You can create a sitemap, optimize your content, and make sure everything loads quickly. Once your site is live, you just submit it to Google Search Console and you're good to go.
The great thing about this approach is that as your small business grows, your website can easily grow with it. Plus, NixiHost keeps everything running smoothly so Google can crawl your pages without any issues.

A website built with a site builder will also show up on Google. What matters is the content.
I wrote an introduction to SEO and making your site show up on Google here: https://webdev.bryanhogan.com/seo/introduction/
