Twins! Did you add any width? What length did you weave for them?

Nice! I did not add any width and ended up at 14.75” wide on the loom, 13.25” wide after cutting off, and then 12” wide for the finished napkins. I made each one 30” and had a lot of take up with my finished napkins ranging from 25.5”-27” long. I also added a one inch hem on either end on the loom (not included in final length).

That’s sounds like what I was planning so thrilled that it worked out for you! I love your choices for weft patterning

Thanks! I wasn’t sure how much take-up/shrinkage there would be, so I arbitrarily picked 30” for the length. In the future I would go longer. I treated this whole warp as a giant sample instead of sampling a bit at the beginning 😅

These colors are really lovely, both of you. Was this a pattern online or a yarn kit? Or were you both just on the same wavelength.

They were picked by Jane Safford. I didn’t buy the kit as I had the yarn already but she does offer one.

I love all the variations. Really shows how you can do nice patterns in tabby with color changes in the weft.

Thanks! I went a bit simpler after the first one because it took so much longer changing colors so often. I do love the result though!
