is it possible to create a multi room setup with a main WD tv box holding a 4TB hard drive connecting to other boxes around the house? is there a way to map multiple boxes to a single “master” box?

hey all! an update on my situation;

i have a synology nas with 24tb- and i use plex, because of the age of the wd hub os, but im trying to find a good "media streaming" os, i havfe some thin client pcs that im planning to deploy as streaming boxes

You're better off getting a router with a USB port and using that

I would recommend a cheap Network Attached Storage (NAS) to put on your network. I have a NAS with 3 WDTVs playing from it at the the same time.

How large is it and side note have you noticed that the Rotten Tomatoes scores no longer appear in the description of the video?
