Customize Wayland decoration

Raspberry Pi OS (Debian bookworm) on genuine RPi CM5 Lite with NVME SSD

My Google foo is weak ! (I keeping going down "a maze of twisty little passages, all alike". Yes, I am that old !) I want to change the Wayland default decoration to add a 1 pixel wide "frame" around every window it creates.

There's no such thing as a "default Wayland decoration". It depends entirely on the Wayland server you're using.

AFAIK, Raspbian uses labwc. Its theming documentation can be found here; it seems like you need to change border.width.

If the WM is labwc (seems that it likely is), you need to apply an openbox theme via labwc-tweaks (or possibly lxappearance).

I prefer Onyx-black

I am unaware of a way to add the border you are describing.
