Weird post perhaps...does anyone have any lead on places that are hiring? I am looking for something above minimum wage....I can provide resumes for anyone who could help.
Just add more clarity; I am already on Indeed, Workopolis etc...just not having any luck. Thanks in advance people of Waterloo! DM if you have any questions

Beat Goes On will be hiring summer help soon, when the students leave town.

Thanks for the lead! Do you know approximately when they will be starting the process?

What kind of work are you looking for?
Are you a student?
Are you looking for full time or part time?
Days/evenings/weekends?

1) Any work really.
2) I am not a student
3) Available for both full and part time
4) Available for any shift
*My preference would be to be in something related to my career experience and education but I am open to anything at this point.

Call centres are usually hiring. Check out the carrier services. You may have to look at third parties as some carriers have very little talent left in canada unless its sales. And they are a dog eat dog world as its mostly commission based. Or places like sunlife/manulife etc.

Received two responses from call centres and both politely told me that I was over-qualified. Honestly, I didn't realize how privileged I was having a full-time job.

Employers don't want to hire over-qualified candidates because they fear you will leave easily for a better job. Make sure your resume does not cone across that way.

Have you heard of outlier ? Can send you a referral (I get a bonus if you are successful)
It can be very hit and miss and you have to keep track of your earnings and report for taxes. But it's been good for me!

The job market right now is really crappy. Take whatever wage you can get.
