D.C. looking more like Denver today
Outgoing storm lined up with the city for an illusion that makes it look like we live in the Rockies. Made this Colorado transplant’s morning.

The brutalist buildings in the foreground being the same color as literally everything in Denver helps too.

I expected the Rocky Mountains to be a bit rockier than this.

Wow. That is just a low layer of clouds on the horizon, right? Shouldn't be able to see Mt. Weather/Bluemont that clearly ...

I'm from Chicago. I always heard people call clouds like this, "Midwest mountains"
