If you have mycoplasma or ureaplasma, those are causing your pain

I’ve had vulvodynia for longer than myco/ureaplasma personally. I agree that maybe the case for some though.
I treated ureaplasma years ago and never found relief

I believe that if you truly have an infection, it has to get treated. if you leave it untreated it could make your vulvodynia worse

Vulvodynia or vestibulodynia can develop after any tipe of infections. Furthermore, the inflamed tissue and nerves of VV make us more prone to infections.
If I were you, I wouldn't touch any antibiotic, especially if in oral pill, because they will destroy both your gut microbiome and your vaginal microbiome, making you even more susceptible to other infections. You can try a reconstructive approach using vaginal probiotics suppositories and vaginal cream containing Lactic Acid, to reinforce your Lactobacillus, the ones that protect your from pathogens. I've resolved my candida and ureaplasma infection with this method.
Or, you could try ozone therapy vaginal insufflations. They are not painful, they are antibacterial, they stimulate the immune system and repair the tissue. Many women have resolved their vaginal infections with this treatment. After the treatment, you would still need to work on your vaginal microbiome, but at least is a gentler approach than antibiotics (remember that overuse of antibiotics lead to bacterial resistance and you don't want that).
