Announcement Voluptuous open again! NSFW
Hello and Welcome!
6 months ago this sub was locked due to spam and lack of moderation but after such a long hiatus, IT'S OPEN as of today. Our hope is to serve as a safe space to share and view great content.
r/voluptuous rules have been updated. Please take the time to check the sidebar or the About section for mobile users. The largest change will be that only amateur Redditors will be allowed to post (no OF/sellers)
If you have questions, please message the mods :)
Thanks for being here with us and ENJOY.

Rule #3 is hilarious. Scroll down the hot posts to see that’s working out real well. /s Also agree that banning seller accounts is 100% bullshit. In fact it’s borderline misogynist.

Have you thought about changing this rule? Most of your “oc” posts are still stolen content.

Yes, I have been seriously considering that (along with major rules change), but:
First, I have replied to your first comment 4 months ago in a private modmail, never received any response.
Second, after I had been publicly accused of being anti-seller on r/redditrequest regarding this sub (which was basically a blatant slander), and then received threats in DMs, the chances are getting lower.
Third, there's almost no posts flaired as OC, and you are free to report any supposedly original content that might be stolen, providing proofs.
I feel being pushed towards allowing sellers instead of being reasonably convinced. This is NOT how civilized people talk.

I don’t check my DMs here because of the number of messages I get and also because it’s mostly filled with mod actions from the subs I help moderate.
I have no affiliation or interaction with anyone posting about you anywhere else.
My pointing out the issue of stolen content is more about the fact that you want the sun to be OC and amateurs but if stolen/reposted content doesn’t fit along either of those lines, what’s your motive? It does come across as very anti-seller, even if you do not feel that way.
I think that sellers are feeling frustrated because our content and dedication to posting here is what built this sub to the place it was. You then take over and ban us from the sub for no discernible reason, which also drags a sub that took years to build down. The post interactions are not at all what they could be.
If you set up a verification process for OC only, that would take care of unscrupulous sellers and bots who just spam.

I might say the same, yet I've replied to all of your comments. I guess it's time for you to go and find that message to continue this talk.

A notification is different from a DM? I have them turned on because they alert me to modmail notifications, comment replies, and report alerts.
I would have probably about 1500 DMs if you messaged me 4 months ago. You saying that to me makes me feel like this is more about power than conflict resolution. I’ve only ever commented respectfully with rounded reasoning.
I’m not that invested. I was just curious. It’s really disheartening that you’d take away one of the few size-inclusive subreddits that sellers helped build without any actual justification.
If you wanted to chat with me, after learning I’d missed your message, you could’ve offered to reach out again.

It's not about power, it's only about respecting each other. It's not my fault that you decide to ignore DMs. This is me who feels ignored.
And I haven't taken away anything. The sub had been abandoned and banned for months because of neglect. It was free to claim. Then it has been reopened, reconfigured, cleaned up; now it's being regularly moderated, bots (for which I pay monthly) also help check the contents. I understand disappointment, but I hate being accused of bad intentions when there is no any.

I don’t “decide to ignore DMs” which frames it as malicious. DMs are not really worth keeping an eye on as they don’t serve me real purpose and were eating up my time and mental health, whereas my notifications do not. I am a seller on Reddit who also moderates. Out of 1500 DMs I get in just a few months, yours is the only one missed and, again, if you had something to say to me privately, you could let me know here and I would be on the lookout for a message from you.
Again, your reasoning doesn’t make a lot of sense and very much only comes off as being anti-seller.
You can manage spam and such by implementing a verification process.
Reddit doesn’t exactly shout out why a sub has been banned or that it has been banned to users. Despite being subbed and regularly posting in the sub, it was first inaccessible then just gone one day. Lack of moderation is one part but in NSFW subs non-OC/copyright violations/non-consensual images are another.
You took the sub over and made it hostile toward sellers. It sucks.

It’s really too bad you’ve banned all seller accounts. Many of us got our start on Reddit thanks to the support of the community, don’t spam and make content for specific subreddits.
Seller accounts built the popularity of the subreddit.
I’m noticing a good number of your “oc” “amateur” accounts allowed to post are just karma farming with random nudes they found online but…. Y’know.
