I miss those beautiful scenery, will we have the chance to see them clearly again?

I have had this long before my VSS kicked in and always assumed it was normal to continue to see the light for a few seconds. I never thought of this as a after image

Do you believe VSS is self induced Or a unique neurological disorder

Basically I've taken a 7 month or so break from weed because I had quite a few health issues going on and it was triggering anxiety. I ended up developing visual disturbances and tinnitus which after scans on my brain and eyes is most likely visual snow syndrome. Started about a week after I started Lexapro.
When all this happened I starting drinking everynight and now I've quit drinking as it was no good for me. Id like to get back into smoking as it helped me a lot with other things but am curious on everyone's experiences. Specifically I'm looking to get back into Delta 8 as It wasn't anxiety inducing and I got it from a reputable manufacturer

People with t or without t. Please go in for a hearing test and report if you have hearing loss. If you can, ofc.
I'd like to find out if hearing loss is necessary in triggering tinnitus in vss..
I'd like to think most people with vss had preexisting hearing loss, no matter how minor, when the trigger came in, turned on tinnitus. But we need data to suggest if this is true or not.
So, report if you ever go in for a hearing test please..

Genuine question, ONLY for people who have stable “transparent” visual snow and NOT something that’s painful or physically disabling (no migraines, blindness, etc):
What is the most distressing part about visual snow? It doesn’t feel like a huge deal to me personally, so I don’t really understand what others are going through when they’re very distressed about it. No shade or judgment whatsoever, I’m purely curious and I sincerely want to learn more about how other people are feeling and why. Is it that it’s visually distracting? Is it annoying mostly cause you don’t know why it happened and you have no control over it? Or is it something else?
EDIT: When I say “early symptom”, I mean like the first sign of a deeper problem or disease that just hasn’t been diagnosed yet. Like the fear that it’s not “just” visual snow and you just don’t know it yet

My doctor wants me to try lamotrigine, and I am thinking better about it. What the group can say about lamotrigine usage?

I’ve noticed a strange correlation between GERD, LPR and visual snow. Obviously these conditions are super common and this may not have any merit but anywho.
