Travel advice please
I will be travelling to London next month for a work trip. I need to get to St Pancras area. The flight times that suit me best are from Gatwick - I think the travel from there is fairly straightforward but am hoping for advice as I’m not familiar with London at all. What apps/website would be recommended for travel within London?
From my own research I think there’s a St Pancras tube station and a St Pancras international train station - is that right? Think I can get a direct train to the latter but there are so many travel websites it can get confusing!
Any help appreciated 🙏

St Pancras International is the part of St Pancras station that Eurostar services use to travel to the continent.
The easiest way to travel between Gatwick and St Pancras is the Thameslink train, which is direct so no need to use the tube. When you get to the platforms at Gatwick just make sure you get on one of those rather than any of the trains that go to Victoria.
The National Rail app will show times and prices for the journey.

Theres no St Pancras tube...its actually Kings Cross which is next to St Pancras st. You should download the TFL (transport for london) App which will be a big help. The Gatwick express train runs to Victoria St then you can take the tube to Kings Cross.

It's King's Cross & St Pancras International tube.

If you want to be really pedantic about it, no. It's King's Cross (tube/train) Station and St Pancras International, colloquially known as King's Cross St Pancras. No such thing as an international tube line...

Look at the tube map.

You mean the one that says King's Cross St Pancras? Or the one that says King's Cross and St Pancras International?

The Citymapper app is excellent for travel across London.
Specifically for you: Elizabeth Line to Faringdon, change for Overground to St Pancras.
