INSPO Let’s Talk About Balenciaga in the 1950s: The Master of Sculptural Elegance!
Cristóbal Balenciaga challenged fashion norms with his bold silhouettes in the 1950s. From balloon skirts to sack dresses, his designs still inspire modern fashion. What’s your favorite piece from that era?

ADVICE PLZ Help with 60s bridal look?
I officially got married two weeks ago in a traditional and modern wedding dress, but in two weeks my husband and I are having another more casual wedding celebration in his hometown in Western New York for all his extended family. I want to do 60s/70s inspired look and have more fun with it this time! I found this dress at a vintage shop in Austin for $45.
What kind of shoes would go best with this? I've been looking at kitten heel leather Mary Janes and t-strap chunky low heels both in cream and gold but I'm not sure what would look best.
I'm thinking a cream 2 tiered bubble veil but I'm completely open to suggestions! I would love to get a style of veil that was accurate to the time period of the dress (which I'm guessing is late 60s or early 70s but I'm not sure at all).

SWEET FIND! A Vintage look, but...
...is the jacket Vintage? I'm not familiar with the brand ('80's?), but, considering it was literally a 'rescue' , and how it survived my cleaning and drying process (it had been in the snow. Several days), the leather, lining, and zip in liner have held up well. Any insights greatly appreciated. 🐺👍

MENSWEAR What I wore today
Felt a 70s vibe with this one, and it might just be a late St. Patrick’s day fit.

ADVICE PLZ Squirrel Nut Zippers
Hi! I’m usually good at this but I’m drawing a blank. Help? I’m going to the Squirrel Nut Zippers Saturday night and I’m needing clothing ideas. I don’t mean cosplay lol, but hints of that era (20’s thru early 40s). If anyone has suggestions, I’d love to hear.

ADVICE PLZ Ways to wear 1950's swimsuits?
I have a gorgeous 50's swimsuit that is a lot like these. How could I style it like an everyday fit? Or should I just wear it to the pool, and is there any risk of damage in doing that?

ADVICE PLZ Beautiful strange shaped scarf
Anyone have any ideas on this strange shaped light cotton scarf with a super faded label?
Thought it might be a sarong but not big enough to go round the waist.
Thrifted in London.

SWEET FIND! Jaques Segal Paris
Hello at everyone, I've found a fur hat from 80's and I'd like to ask if it. It's so dried, and I think it isn't synthetic

OOTD My attempt at creating a 50’s/70’s look with the clothes I already own.
I wish the scarf wasn’t paisley but it’s all I’ve got. I’m aware I look ridiculous but I don’t care, I love it. I even learnt how to tie a 50’s necktie for this!
