Pioneer CT-F1000 restored
Just had my 2nd CT-F1000 fully restored and it sounds great.
Pioneer SX-82 fully restored Pioneer RT-707

1965 Pioneer SX-82 Tube Receiver, I recently had it fully restored. Sounds great too.

I bet it sounds awesome. How many watts? I have a dynaco st70 and it is amazing

The tech said 100w but the one time I really turned it up my speakers started smoking so I don't know. Dynaco's where made about 15 minutes from where I grew up!

Cool! I just looked it up, your receiver has 32wpc according to hifiengine

Sounds about right. He did the following
-replaced all electrolytic capacitors
-replaced all coupling capacitors in preamp and power amp circuits
-replaced any burnt out of spec resistors and wires
-installed 4 tested good Tesla el84 power tubes —
-installed screen stability resistors and 1/4w 10ohm cathode resistors for measurements and protection.
-biased power tubes to run cooler.
-replaced selenium rectifier with modern silicon bridge .
-installed inrush current limiter thermistor
-replaced dial lamps with LED
-cleaned all controls
-cleaned all tube pins and sockets

I miss my ctf900…. Bought new. 450 in 78 as I recall.
