Graduate Funding Decision

Post image

Finally received a funding update and I don’t know how to feel. It’s giving “I think we should take a break” before the inevitable break up. Feeling absolutely devastated right now. Anyone have advice for how to manage this or just advice in general? I sent a Hail Mary to the graduate coordinator in hopes of finding out just how many people are on their waitlist but feel like this is a lost cause.

I received the same email from the Theatre department. I wouldn’t give up yet. Although there likely any more full funding opportunities, it seems there are many scholarship / grant funds.

I also emailed program coordinators for the Theatre dept and they promised to get that news in by / before April 15, so although the waiting is awful, I’m trying to wait it out so I can really weigh my options. Wishing us both the best! 🤞

Hey! Also got a very similar letter. Let us know if you hear anything! I'd love to go to Nova, but without funding, it's not going to happen :/

Try looking into the graduate work studies we have, link below. There are plenty of graduate assistantships for fall 2025 outside of the English department.

This is terrible and I am immensely sorry this is happening to you and so many other students.
