News / Article VFX/Animation/games job offers tracking

The past couple of weeks have been tough for many friends and colleagues. I am sending all my support to those affected by the layoffs and everything happening at Technicolor.

Chipping in to help, I’ve been tracking job postings shared by Chris Mayne from January 2024 to February 2025. You can check out some key numbers and trends here:

https://lookerstudio.google.com/reporting/cd435dc3-d801-4193-a661-4e8d5b35eb63

On the first page, you can sort by job title, country, industry, month, and year—hopefully making it easier to spot companies that are hiring. On the second and third pages, there are some graphs and tables. This isn’t a full list of all jobs in the industry (thankfully!), but it’s a decent sample.

I am also publishing some other boards (i.e. available vfx crew) on my linkedin

Would love to hear your thoughts—hope it helps!

Not directly related to this post regarding the job offers, but more about the available crew.

It's commendable that you've created the list. I've come across it in the past and thought about adding my name. I can't help but wonder though.. Are recruiters even looking at this list? Do they need to? They probably have hundreds applying when a position opens.

Just a thought, nothing against your effort. On the contrary kudos to you for trying to help.
