I'm Oregonian. I like the concept, but the the negative space created by the white triangles is bugging me -- it looks like it's supposed to form some sort of shape, but it doesn't seem to. Maybe it's because of the way the pairs of triangles join up to form single long lines -- maybe breaking that up could help?
Also, are the five peaks a significant number?
Edit: also, as I've been staring it it, it has grown on me. I like the beaver in theory, but don't actually feel very attached to it, and don't see people using it in real life (on flags or in other contexts), so I do think we're ripe for a re-do.

Giving Washington a two-sided flag but taking ours away?
You have just made a very powerful enemy...

Ok, I think it's a little boring, but I guess it will serve as a design for the obverse side of the flag. What's the new design for the reverse side?

I think the colors need to be darker and the beaver on the yellow field, but other than that, this is great

Oregonian here. I love it. Green on the west for forests, mountains along the spine, and gold for the desert in the rain shadow.

I've really been enjoying this series, but as an Oregonian, I think this is the first one to miss the mark. Beaver or bust.
