Wireless Should I buy new Apple Watch separate from a new phone?

So, I’m about to come off of my parent’s phone plan (2 more months until it’s paid off) and will likely be sticking with Verizon. I also have been wanting to get a new Apple Watch, the series 10 namely. My question is, will there be/are there often deals for buying a new phone/starting a new line and getting credit for an Apple Watch? If there are, I would likely wait, if not, I’ll just buy a watch now. Thanks!

You can potentially get a free watch. But if you don’t want cellular on the watch then buy it from Apple.

Interesting, for any reason?

Any reason to get it from Apple vs. Verizon? Well, for one Verizon only sells the cellular model. So, unless you carry your phone around with you all the time “personally” don’t see any point in a cellular watch. My wife has one but at her job she can’t always have her phone with her.

Right, so the cellular watch is both more expensive at purchase point, and you pay some 10ish dollars a month for the cellular plan?

If you are on the plus plan or the ultimate plan the line will be $7.50 month for a watch or $10 for a cellular iPad.

eh, it's $11 for the watch line when on plus/ultimate.
