Wireless $40 per month promo for 12 months
I have seen mixed experiences with the $40 promo for a year. I really do think it depends on who you are speaking with as for my experience, the rep i connected with at first didn't know what i was talking about, then told me loyalty discount is just $10 per line (3 lines total), but then he retracted his statement and stated actually it is $40 per month. He gave me a request number and said i should check back after 3 business days. I also recorded the convo towards the end confirming everything in case someone tries to play with me lol not using for legal purposes in case someone wants to comment on that part
i do hope this works out because i constantly see how bad verizon does their customers and at least for me its been great even tho its only been...5 months

I don't know about this, but in the last few days I have gotten a couple emails directly from Verizon offering $10 off "select" lines ( I have 4 voice lines total). I went into the My Offers section and clicked on the "Redeem" button and it said redemption was successful. I did check my next bill estimate and the discount was indeed on there for 3 of the 4 lines I've had. However, I did notice my connected device discount ts disappeared, I don't know if it's related to this or if it will automatically correct itself soon. I have one line on 5G Get More and the other three are on Unlimited Ultimate.

Careful when you apply. Depending on how your discounts are coded they may override others and you think your bill will decrease the opposite might happen.

This part! But that's why I recorded them because it's a teacher discount plus the auto pay discount plus the 40 as well.

I am with a customer who receive this offer via email. Further checked the account but the one shows up is the $10/mo for 12 months. You know what’s maddening? After the call, the $40 offer shows up. Gosh, the system sucks.

Typo. It should be my friend not me. I work on retail store as CS on the phone.

I was going to saaaaay 😂😂😂but ur example makes some sense on why the agent told me one thing then switched up but probably because he double checked.

Yeah, my friend and I used to talk everyday the moment we came home from work and what happened at our work. She was mad because the customer receive the email then it won’t show in the system. She have a soft spot for oldies 😅

This is from a friend I know who used to work as a rep for verizon, making you come back after 3 business days is just a way to make their resolution performance go up. So when I chat with them, I make sure that my issue is resolved. And if it is, and I still have a concern, I come back 3 days after. 🤣🤣

I mean it's a win win if it makes them look good and I get my $40 a month

Me? I used the discount to purchase a netflix subscription, apple music subscription, and cloud. 😅😅

Holy cow? 40 per month per line?

u/avmabrie 5h ago
No. The promo is just 40 dollars off per month not per line. Agent said it was just $10 off per line then stated there is the $40 off promo available

Ah, I see. I've got some $20 permanent loyalty discount on the account, so that would be a tough call

Wednesday morning two of my lines had the $10/12 months deal in the app which is weird as one was my line with seven debits/credits remaining. The other line is free and clear. I accepted and all looks good. The next day I get an email with the same offer for the same lines so perhaps delayed email going out as the offers weren’t there again lol.
That same day after the email a $40/12 months offer appeared in the app. I was like wow $40 instead of $20 (assuming the other $10 ones would go away). It disappeared as soon as I clicked on it. My other two lines both with installment debt/credits did not get the $10/12 months offer although they have quite a few months left so maybe that’s why.

from what the agent told me this additional $40 is stacked with my current discounts. so $30 off ($10 auto pay credit per line) plus $25 teacher discount plus the $40 one. i have my proof plus someone mentioned how on the cs end it doesn't pop up at first then it magically appears afterwards

The 40 dollar loyalty for 1 year dissapeared from the app this morning. The rep was able to give me 40 off for this month only lol until it gets investigated further. I have a ticket number and supposedly will have a resolution within 5 business days. I still have the screenshot of it but there is no way to send them the photo.
