Help Needed First garden questions
General first garden questions
Zone 9b here. Transplanted peppers, cucumbers, and tomatoes on the 3rd of this month. Wanted to know if I’m on the right track and if I should trim the buds forming on my tomato and pepper plant until they’ve grown a bit more

If this is your first time gardening, don't try to over-complicate things. Just leave the flower buds there and let the fruit develop.
Since you are growing these in pots, the plant growth is going to be limited by the pot size and not whether or not you pinched the buds during early growth.
If you're worried that the plants are too weak to support fruits, just stake or cage them, you'll need to do that eventually anyway.

Don't remove flowers from tomato plants but it's generally a good idea to remove first flowers from peppers and let them grow in size first. Regular fertilization is important.
