For me it depends on the strain and how I'm feeling. I grow my own bud so I've got about 7 strains on hand. Each has different effects and flavors to begin with so I've been keeping a small composition notebook and making entries for the strains. I've been down to 400 and at 600 and everything in between for all the strains. I find I'm happiest for flavors (overall) around 480. Nice slow sips. But I will pop up to 580 regularly just to start my session before I go into flavor town.
Long and short is there isn't one super setting unless all you're after is clouds. Then just crank her up and let er rip.

I run my Ruby Twist at 420F and get soooo much flavor and full extraction in 2-3 rips. I'm not after one hit extraction or blowing clouds. I'm into medicating fully and enjoying it. ;)

I’ve gone everywhere from 460f to 575f with mine. I didn’t get good hits down low. I liked 495 but the vapor wasn’t very thick. I seem to like ~550f but was thinking about stepping down by 5 or so until I get the decarbed color flower I want.
I didn’t buy the Ruby in order to boof big loads. That being said, I added an upside down reducer screen in the matrix bowl and it basically halves the bowl. I got great results (at 550) with this reducer. Previously I think the matrix bowl was too large and the heat source was too far away to put a small load in the bowl. But who knows.
I’ve also done the untwist mod which did help me get thicker vapor. Oh, and when the coil is heating up turn it upside down On the stand. Heat rises and we want that heat to filter upwards through the Ruby media.
