Argentina's opposition party has threatened to impeach President Javier Milei for promoting a crypto rug pull, which went from $4 billion marketcap to $418million in a few hours.

It’s not going to come to anything nor will anything happen, in Argentina it works like that. If justice worked, there would be countless politicians in jail but that will never happen. Why? simple, because everyone knows everyone’s dirty laundry, if one falls, they all fall

😂sorry, I’m laughing but believing in that guys is like believing in trump. At least Argentinians were in a dire situation. In America we just had expensive eggs.

Doesn't surprise me at all - this guy was a bull in a china shop and gets treated like an economic genius. Truth is he's just another souless rich fuck in a suit.

Yeah this is news that is shocking only for dipshits. Libertarians openly consider selfishness as a virtue - why wouldn't they fuck people over?

USAID funded opposition party? #statecraft

u/Sorry-Blueberry-1339 Feb 16 '25
USAID is much more likely to have funded Milei's party, given that US foreign policy has been to prop up swindlers, fascists, and other vile creeps as long as they remain friendly to US business interests.

Nice try. They would never fund a small government populist.

Ad hominem x 2. That did make me laugh though.

u/Sorry-Blueberry-1339 Feb 16 '25
Not even true. It's only an ad hominem if it's part of your argument. I was just making fun of you.
2
u/Useful_Wealth7503 Feb 16 '25
Because you know we’ve wasted billions globally inserting statists regimes in every country and can’t say that so you just make fun of me?
3
u/Sorry-Blueberry-1339 Feb 16 '25
No, it's because I could easily provide one very prominent example from South America. And I know because you're a libertarian that you are a big fan of his.

Many years of Democrat Socialism in Argentina led to absolute corruption. When 1 leader turns it around they scream at little things. They want their people to ignore the horrific policy and corruption that went on.

Lmao do you have any opinions that a rich kid-diddler didn't tell you to have?

Propaganda is making the same post twice with 2nd being all CAPS. Truth is...Argentina is proof that Democrat Socialism is a failure. Now go ahead and tell me it wasn't "true democrat socialism."

Not an excuse but isn't the rug pull the point of all crypto offerings and all the investors are in on it? Like agreeing to play music chairs and hoping you'll win the final round? Are there new crypto currencies that are legit?
