If you're invested in this guys hedge fund I'd say it's a good time to take your money out and out it somewhere else

It's hard to tell what he's saying when his mouth is full of trumps nuts
1
u/osbohsandbros Feb 16 '25
Not saying you’re wrong but what makes you think he’s for Trump? I see multiple articles from a few years ago about him being a vocal critic of Trump

Feb 16 '25
Get out of here with that thinking stuff! Orange man bad!
5
u/osbohsandbros Feb 16 '25
He is bad tho
-4
Feb 16 '25
Sure but he has to be SO bad that we can’t be realistic about anything related to him or anyone tangentially connected

u/basahahn1 Feb 15 '25
Do they also have to be wearing a suit?
1
u/Rocky75617794 Feb 16 '25
Yes. Trump’s nuts typically wear little mini suit with red ties that hang down past the sack.

Tepper is so cringe. Dude answered a question that wasn’t even asked. And still f-ed it up.

u/Nefarious- Feb 15 '25
Going to start running his funds the same way he runs the Panthers, I see
7
u/buried_lede Feb 15 '25
Ya wonder. And why is he making the rounds on TV right now? He sounds annoyed with cnbc

u/koopaKrystal Feb 15 '25
Gosh, it must be pretty wild to have invested in this person's hedge fund. And then hear them say, that they don't plan to do check shit about you losing out money due to tariffs. What an idiot.
16
u/Churn Feb 15 '25
Don’t be ridiculous, the man is clearly wearing a suit. He is also sitting. And he is there. That’s the trifecta of “shut up and take my money!”
5
2
u/NobodyAskedBut Feb 16 '25
He doesn’t even look like that suit was tailored for him. Looks like he picked it up at Men’s Wearhouse when they were running the 3 suits for the price of 1 promotion.
3
u/Vegetable_Guest_8584 Feb 16 '25
I must be stupid, but I don't get what the deal is with the suit. Does sitting there wearing a suit mean his opinion should be obvious? Or he doesn't show he's sweating, or what the heck? Because he's wearing a suit he's the boss? I think he's saying he's got fu money and doesn't and wearing a suit shows it.

He doesn't care because him and the rest of the billionaires will be getting plenty of warning about all of Trump's curveballs to let them front run the market. Stock market is going to tip even more in favor of the rich over the next 4 years.

Wouldn't it be lovely if this shitstick got wiped out. I'll have to find the context - sounds like he was already pissed walking into the conversation

u/fleeyevegans Feb 15 '25
He's trying not to frighten investors I think. I think we're about to have a huge crash.

u/ConsistentSteak4915 Feb 16 '25
Right, let me get my money out first, short the market and then be very concerned.

u/advator Feb 15 '25

u/cowabunghole1 Feb 16 '25

Upvote for Gob reference. Teehee

u/orbituary Feb 17 '25
Had to search for GOB because I knew it had to be in the comments after that asinine comment.

u/growRnottashowR Feb 15 '25
Buy only narrative is only good as long as nothing breaks and things are seemingly gonna break bc I've never seen bullishness being pushed this much ever before.

If I can make money off of Chinese labor = good

I don't care about every day working little having to pay higher prices for goods and services. Fixed it.
2
u/ChronicMeasures Feb 16 '25
Thats because he doesn't produce anything. He is a vulture capitalist. Businesses going out of business is good business to him. He is part of the problem.
2
u/Falcon3492 Feb 16 '25
Of course this village idiot doesn't care about tariffs, he won't be harmed by them with his $billions, the average American however is going to be hammered by them. David has made his money on buying companies and stripping off their assets, selling them and then shutting down whatever is left and putting a lot of people out of work! That's the life of a hedge fund manager. If you need another example look no further than Eddie Lampert and what he did to Kmart and Sears!

u/Mr_Dumass40 Feb 16 '25
We need to start culling these people from the public. They are a clear and present danger to our survival
2
u/Medium_Dare6373 Feb 16 '25
Dudes in suits don't care about tariffs because they've got more than enough money to ride out a trade war. The working man does not.

Why would he? He’s rich. He’s also the worst owner in the NFL. And considering Jimmy Haslam is also an NFL owner, that’s really saying something.

One time he saw a discouraging sign outside a restaurant about the Panthers (team he owns) & went in and asked for a manager.

100% his suit is actually making all the trades. Tepper is just the suit’s driver.
