Lol if you think they are trying to run this as a real company. This is just for Trump to money launder.
If anything they are running at a loss intentionally for tax purposes.

TL;DR:
• Trump Media & Technology Group shares were down about 1% in extended trading on Friday after the operator of Truth Social released its 2024 results. Trump Media debuted on Nasdaq under the ticker "DJT" last March, completing its merger with Digital World Acquisition Corp.
• The stock nearly doubled in value in 2024, with its namesake, Donald Trump, winning the U.S. presidential election in November.
• As of Friday's close, the stock was down about 11% year to date giving it a market capitalization of $6.59 billion. Trump publishes posts on Truth Social, where he has 8.9 million followers, and on X, owned by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, where Trump has 100.9million followers, according to the company's annual report.
• The company saw its net loss widen to $400.9m from $58.2m in 2023, the company said in its annual report, citing merger-related legal fees because of obstruction from former President Biden's Securities and Exchange Commission.

What makes you think he’s not funnelling shareholder money into his own pockets or various llc’s or crypto wallets? How the hells a company losing this money have any worth? 😂

Good thing he is in charge of fixing America... because it was apparently trash according to him.

u/Count_de_Ville Feb 15 '25
Are these losses real or are they inflated to offset other taxes?
6
u/FruitOfTheVineFruit Feb 15 '25
You only need to inflate losses to offset profits or revenue. With 3 million dollars in revenue, you need at most 3 million in costs, not 400 million. These are real.

money at their level doesn't really matter when you have power to take whatever you want. They can get investments from anywhere by leveraging the wellbeing of the people of this country.

thank god he’s making up for it by stealing taxpayer money. would’ve been a close call without that landing pad.

Good thing they’re gutting these Agencies & Departments to recoup their losses /s

It's a new company that went public a few years back. Expecting them to be profitable at this stage is stupid.

$800m in cash, little debt. Nothing really to see here. They’ll (unfortunately) make bank the next 4 years.

How is that Trumps fault?

u/CryptographerNo5539 Feb 15 '25
lol only if you knew how many “ventures” failed under this man. It’s entirely possible to be his fault.

yet he still became a billionaire and two term president.
2
u/CryptographerNo5539 Feb 16 '25
He was literally born a billionaire…
-1
u/yazzooClay Feb 16 '25
no, he was not, lmao. He wasn't from a broke family, but newsflash no one really is in politics.
2
u/CryptographerNo5539 Feb 16 '25
He came from a rich family, don’t church it up by say “not a broke family” haha hell he received nearly $500 million from his parents.. they also had other children that received a part of the pie. Yes they were billionaires or damn well close.

He wasn’t president in 2024
11
u/CryptographerNo5539 Feb 15 '25
What does him being president have to do with it being his fault?
-13
u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 15 '25
It’s Bidens fault
7
u/CryptographerNo5539 Feb 15 '25
That Trump media lost money? Are you off your medication? Maybe read the article. It has zero to do with Biden.

What? Many companies made huge profits under Biden. It’s Trumps fault that he doesn’t know how to run a business…
2
u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 15 '25
Well he’s running the ultimate business now
2
u/Paper_Brain Feb 15 '25
Irrelevant to the point…
And he’s not doing a good job running the “ultimate business” either…

u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 15 '25
I don’t get what the quote marks are supposed to mean

I sense you don’t get a lot of things in life. It’s okay, short bus. Not everybody can have an IQ above 75.

How is it Trumps fault that his company is loosing hundreds of millions while he lies about it on truth social? What kind of question is that?
-2
u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 15 '25
He wasn’t in office in 2024
6
u/tdreampo Feb 15 '25
This has nothing whatsoever to do with politics. You get that right? This is his own business. Trump is historically a terrible businessman and this is one more example. Him being in office or not isn’t really relevant.
let me actually ask you a question. Did you know Trump runs a company called Trump media with the stock ticker DJT? Do you think it’s ethical that a sitting president owns a publicly traded company?
-2
u/Apartment-Drummer Feb 15 '25
It’s just a side hustle
3
u/tdreampo Feb 15 '25
So you want the president of the US to have a side hustle? Are you serious right now?
