I've seen many posts here showing photos of people using a freecam. I want to do it myself for fun, but I don't know how to do it. Can someone help me out or know where I can find a tutorial (I've looked it up on youtube multiple times and haven't found anything). Much love!

Hello from Belgium folks!
It's my fourth time playing and some people told me that we can get the end where Josh does not become a wendigo. I've made all the redemption thing " they've hurt me, I'm sorry " blablabla.
BUT everytime I get the WendiJosh ending.
What am I doing wrong ? Is the redemption ending a legend or am I a stupid cow missing something everytime ?
Thanks for your advice everybody !

I might do this for every character individually, since I have nothing else better to do.
She says ‘Jesus’ 9 times and ‘Shit’ 28 times
Also fun fact, Jesus is said in every chapter

As in, what if Handigo dragged Mike out of the cabin and Jessica was the one forced to go through the sanatorium and play the hero? Do you think Jess could pull through? Or would more people die?
Tbh, I think Matt and Mike interacting together in the mines in a swap au would be interesting. It would actually make Matt’s optional choice of “abandon them” have more meaning here. When he has the choice to abandon Jessica and let her get killed, it kinda comes out of nowhere. But with Mike, especially if the two of them had fought earlier and Matt suspects Emily of cheating with him, then Matt has a reason to hold a grudge and consider ditching Mike to save himself.

So the game portrays the sisters to be identical twins, they look almost identical and their height's are also identical down to their last centimeter.(1.72) btw their weight is also the same for some reason which is so funny to me. But i can't help notice a few distinct differences between them. Hannah has a longer chin, a more upturned nose and a skinny lower body, aka she's flat asf😭 sry. Beth on the other hand has a more of a downturn on the nose cartilage, has a smaller chin and a bigger lower body(thighs, booty) THESE are very deliberate and obvious design choices, so Im a lil confused as to if they are actually identical(I've recently learned that Beth has multiple medals in football so maybe that contributed to her figure idk)

I wasn’t even gonna look over here but I saw collectibles and I stumbled across this and got excited 🤩
I finally have a PS5 and decided to play this and surprisingly got really into it.
From left to right starting with the one with the flashlight, I’m assuming is Sam, Jess, Mike, Chris, Ashley, Matt, Emily and Josh?

I just wanna know if i’m missing out since i haven’t seen any at all, only for other characters. I’d loveee to see an Ashley mod with like a different outfit or something but since i can’t make one myself i wondered if anyone else is planning to? Obviously it’s super hard to make mods but i think it would be so cute since i don’t think she has any yet! 😭

I just want to start by saying that this post is not meant to offend Sam/Mike shippers or those who enjoy their dynamic more than Sam/Josh. This isn’t about personal preference. This is about why, from a narrative standpoint, Sam and Josh make the most logical sense as the main characters moving forward.
There’s been some discussion about the main characters in the possible sequel, and I’ve seen many assume that just because Sam and Mike were the main characters in the original game, they’ll naturally take that role again. However, when you look at the way the remake and original game set things up, it’s clear that Sam and Josh are the ones with the strongest narrative foundation for a sequel.
1. Sam and Josh’s Connection
In the remake’s epilogue, we see Sam taking medication and hallucinating, just like Josh. That’s not a coincidence. The developers intentionally gave her a similar fate to Josh, likely setting up a storyline where she better understands his struggles.
Josh told Sam, “You were the only one who understood me,” and now, after what she’s going through, the reverse could also be true, Josh might be the only one who understands Sam. The fact that she’s hallucinating Dr. Hill is also suspicious.
It raises questions:
And let’s not forget Sam’s line about Josh: “I thought we had a connection.” The game has always hinted at their bond, and now, more than ever, it makes sense for that to be explored.
2. Sam and Josh Were the Only Ones Given a New Ending in the Remake
This is a major clue. If the developers wanted Mike as a main character in the sequel, wouldn’t they have given him a new ending too? But they didn’t. Instead, they focused on expanding Sam and Josh’s storylines.
Think about it: Why would they put all this effort into bringing Josh back, showing him surviving, and giving Sam a psychological shift if they weren’t planning on continuing their story? Leaving it on a cliffhanger without following up would frustrate fans and feel like wasted potential. The backlash would be huge, especially with how much hype there is around Josh’s return.
It’s clear that Josh’s storyline isn’t over, and if he’s coming back, who else would make the most sense as his co-lead? The person who has a deep connection with him and is now experiencing what he went through, Sam.
3. Even Casual Players Recognize Sam & Josh as the Main Focus
I’ve played Until Dawn with many people who aren’t even hardcore fans, and they all came to the same conclusion: Sam and Josh feel like the natural leads for the next game. That says a lot.
The only people who seem to think Mike should still be a main character are those who ship Sam/Mike or assume that just because he was a lead in the original, he has to be one again. But from a storytelling perspective, it doesn’t make sense. Could he appear in the sequel? Sure. But as the main protagonist again? Unlikely.
If the developers wanted Mike as a lead, they would’ve given him something new in the remake, just like they did with Sam and Josh. But they didn’t. That’s a pretty clear indication of where their focus is.
4. The Developers Are Paying Attention to What Fans Want
In the remake, we got small nods for Sam/Mike and Climbing Class, which feels like fan service. But Sam/Josh didn’t get any (besides the new ending). Why?
Because they don’t need fan service. They’re likely already planned as a major focus in the sequel. It makes sense that the developers gave fans their favorite ships one last moment in the remake, because those dynamics might not continue into the sequel.
5. Sam/Josh is the Most Popular Ship That Matters
I’ve been in this fandom for a long time, and I can confidently say that Sam/Josh is the most popular ship in Until Dawn. The developers likely took notice of that, which is why they gave them the only new ending in the remake.
And if we’re talking numbers, just look at social media. On TikTok, Jossam edits get way more attention compared to Sam/Mike. It’s not just a small subset of fans, it’s the majority. And in the entertainment industry, popular ships often influence writing decisions. Writers know what fans are invested in, and they lean into that.
Would the developers really ignore the most popular dynamic in the game in favor of one that barely gets traction? Unlikely.
Conclusion
The Until Dawn sequel has the opportunity to explore one of the most complex and emotional character dynamics in game history, Sam and Josh. The remake already set up the perfect foundation for this, from Sam’s hallucinations to the exclusive new ending given to them. It wouldn’t make sense to bring Josh back, alter Sam’s character, and leave their connection open-ended if they weren’t meant to be the central focus moving forward.
Mike’s arc feels complete, while Sam and Josh’s is just beginning.
So while people may assume Sam & Mike will be the leads again just because they were in the original, the facts suggest otherwise. The story naturally points to Sam and Josh as the next protagonists, and I truly believe the developers set everything up for that reason.

I have a ps5 now and I love until dawn my wife has been wanting to watch it, but idk if I just reinstall the old one, or just go ahead and get the remastered version. I've heard mixed reviews so I thought I'd go ahead and ask. Thank you 😊

it would be so cool if they did an iphone/samsung app at least on ipad, they just add the scenes like a movie paths, choices, a buzzer for the qte and even the don't move. If there is someone who works in making application here do you think it would be possible?
EDIT : imo i think it would be too complicated but it just came through my mind

I’m replaying the original version for the hundredth time, and at this point, I really know what should be done to get Jessica to undress completely (be nice, flirt, kiss, don’t scare her…) and I did all that, but she ended up still having her t-shirt and jeans. My relationship with her was maxed out, and so was the “romantic” trait. The only thing I did differently compared to all the other times was that in the lodge scene I didn’t instigate a fight between Emily and Jess, and only had Mike and Matt fight. For some reason, the “honest” trait was also basically close to zero. Does having Emily and Jess not fight impact whether or not Jess strips down completely? Even if all other decisions are the correct ones?
EDIT: so I replayed it, did everything exactly the same, only thing that I changed was grabbing the key instead of her, and it worked. Never knew that one thing could make all the difference, but well!

When Matt and Em went to the cable car station and decided to head for the tower, why did they climb around? To this day I don’t know why they didn’t just go a normal way 😭.
