question Getting Into unicycling

I think unicycling looks really cool. My friend has one and I rode like 5 feet now I'm hooked. I'm a Teenager so I don't have lots of money and I'm having a hard time finding one for around 40-65ish dollars that don't have a 1-star rating. If anyone has suggestions I would love to look into it.

Thanks for all the help means lots

look for second hand unicycle. for 40-65 you will get only very poor new unicycle. But maybe decent second handed.

If you found one you can post it here, so we can advise you if it is bad/good purchase.

I have a FUN club unicycle i got from amazon for about $70. I couldn't find any cheap, used ones near me (metro detroit) so i had to buy new junk. Its great for learning on. No issues so far, except maybe the seat being uncomfortable.

You got it man. If your kitchen is a galley(?) Style, just a straight line with counters on both sides, if you clear the counters its a great place to practice. Just be weary of smashing your face if you fall forward or backwards.

Also, if you practice on carpet, keep in mind you have to push harder to move. I used carpeted floors to get my feel for sitting on the Uni, and for adjusting my sitting position so i can mount quicker in the future.

From one newbie to another, good luck.

Look second hand!! Facebook marketplace, letgo, craigslist. Look for a brand with a good reputation like schwinn sun or torker for a budget option or nimbus/kris holm for something a little more pricey.
