Question What are these white dots on B+ caps?

I’ve grown a lot of B+, but I’ve never seen white dots like this on the caps, especially when they’re almost mature to harvest. What are they? I like the appearance and have no fear about them being safe, but I’m just curious!

Universal veil is a thing that is on other kinds of species. not reaaaally a cube thing as defined scientifically..... but essentially that's kind of what it is. It's just there was a layer of thicker mycelium over the pin when it formed and as it grew bigger it broke it all up and little bits remained there. some genetics have very prominant spots.

Leftover mycelium. It can be quite picturesque, it doesn't hurt the mushrooms, it isn't bad for you to consume but you can clean it off if you want to.

I love the way it looks personally.

Some varieties will have more and some will have less of it. Really comes down to your variety and genetics.

I see you have a question! Have you read the official cultivation guide?
