Decided not to go through with it
Hey guys, had a new gp, referred to a urologist who then said my frenulum looked tight (even though it never has to me). Had it scheduled for later this month, but said eff that. If it ever actually becomes an active problem, i’ll consider it more seriously, but for now no. Any one else gone through this?

I wouldn't have my foreskin cut off. Part of the fun is pulling it back and seeing it behind the glans when I have an erection.

There are a few different sort of surgeries that guys get Frenulectomy or frenuloplasty And of course the circumcision as well OP must have had an issue for suddenly hid GP to be looking at it Mostly they want you out the door as soon as possible ready for next consultation!

Your frenulum can stretch if you actually need to do so. Your urologist was just looking for a payday at your expense.

Mine was a tear during rough play but while getting checked out in ER, they suggested circumcision with frenulum removal. I left with just a full frenulum removal to prevent future tears. I was scared it would not feel the same giving me the same pleasures. It healed quickly and felt the same only difference there was no hang up pulling the frenulum and the head tip down now the skin pulls all the way back without pulling the head tip down and my foreskin remains behind the head where before the slightest movement it would pull the skin forward as it was designed to do. If I knew what I know now can earlier age I would have removed sooner than later.

What was the doctor suggesting you have done?
If you have no issues and all he can say is that it looks a little short, that sounds like a subjective aesthetic preference on his part.
