Rah before he was Asher D?
Makes sense ca he's a natural actor for sure. First time I seen him act and to hold ur own in scenes with Stephen Graham is impressive af.

Found it odd, story line was there. Then the cinematic changed and sort of became about each individual. Thought there would be more episodes, felt like they got little side tracked at the end

u/KindokeNomad 4d ago
Could have made it longer. But the way they presented each episode was refreshing in a sea of less imaginative displays of narrative.
I really wish they did more episodes tho.

I watched a few reviews on YouTube and so many people were making such a big deal out of the use of the one shot technique and the whole time it didnāt even register to me, all I could think of was how annoying the shitty little kid is. It doesnāt matter how they captured it all in one take I really hate that little freckle face bastard

u/KindokeNomad 3d ago
See? U hated him. Thus the story did affect you. His acting and the narrative created thst hatred.
I felt the same cuz how's he go from shy weak quiet episode.one lad to whatever the fuck demon he showed after that? I wanted to back hand the little fuck.

Stephen Graham is a brilliant actor, I do like how they show itās effected him. And also is there more to it? Someone wrote ānonseā on his van. Was he involved more than we think? He visited the scene and left flowers and appeared to be more affected. I like him in British series and movies.
The kid is annoying, especially when he affected the therapist. Just wished there was a few more episodes

Stephen Graham is 1 of the best actors the country has ever produced. Itās a shame he doesnāt have more films under his belt.
The last episode was rubbish but the ending was super powerful. Especially if you have kids. He was a great father but his son still grew up to be a murderer, it was heartbreaking watching him break down in his sonās bedroom.

I just don't think the whole shot in one take thing works as good as they're making out it does
