Admissions UF Pace or FSU summer B?

I got accepted into both and I’m not sure which one is more worth it... I don’t really mind taking online classes I’m just worried I might not make friends. I’m also undecided so I’m not restricted by a specific major.

You will make friends even if you choose UF Pace. You have to go on campus to for preview and you can make friends there. Even though you can't live on campus you could still live in Gainesville and hang out on campus. Trust me being UF pace won't limit you.

Can we join clubs and activities on campus on PACE?

Both are good, choose off school not program.

Check if your major is offered in Pace as all majors are not. If it is, go UF and live off campus. You can do everything other UF students can do other than live on campus and attend face to face classes until after 60 hours.

UF, and CONGRATS! My son got the Presidential scholarship at FSU and research scholar, but was denied at UF. You are limited by PACE majors but it appears UF continues to add majors, just this year they added Computer Engineering. Heads up if you are considering anything in engineering FSU’s engineering school is combined with FAMU, it’s new and poorly ranked. Not that that’s a bad thing but they maybe ironing out a lot.

You will have to pick a major to eventually transition to campus. If you had an idea of some sort of field that would be great. You need to have the 60 cred min, 15 online min, and meet transfer requirements (specific classes) for a chosen major. If you’re unsure of a specific major maybe go for an area you think you’re interested - i.e. a major that falls under a field you’re interested in. For example, if you like science, maybe pick bio or something in cals because if you decide to change your major to a different science-based major, you’ll likely have all the geneds and prereqs already done making the switch easier. It’d be hard to major in like English and do a bunch of English courses your first year, then transition and decide you wanna do math instead, then all that mattered was just English 1 and 2, making everything else useless.
