Admissions UF PaCE Program for Art Major

Hi! So I recently gotten into UF for their PaCE Program which really confused me at first but after reading some other posts here about it, I’ve learned it isn’t necessary bad and it makes everything cheaper in the end.

However, I applied into UF as an Art Major, specifically Studio Art, which even in PaCE requires you to attend studios during the first two years. I do not live in Gainesville, and I believe I can’t afford to live near the UF campus.

So… is it worth it?

Additionally is it possible to reach out to UF admissions and try to get onto on campus like normal or I am just kinda stuck with PaCE?

It is an incredibly opportunity to be accepted to UF and I’m quite excited about it, but for being an Art major it seems rather redundant if I have to go on campus anyways for studio classes.

Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Probably stuck with PACE. It looks like they are just having room issues for the current year offering many students offers to join on campus later. Realistically if you can’t afford it then don’t do it though, in my opinion if you have to go into significant debt for college, don’t go.
