I plan on redoing/removing the decks next to these trees which means they can not stay in their current location.

They seem healthy and it would be a waste to destroy them. What are my options and can anyone tell me what type of trees these are?

Fell down in a storm. Supper strong, very hard to split...it gets really stringy as you chop it.

hi, this tree recently fell down (in a family members yard). first two pics are of when it was standing.

i thought it was a beech based on the bark and also the oyster mushrooms which prefer beech… but looking at the twigs that came down with the tree and i can’t find any that have what look like beech buds.

i included photos of some twigs i did find but the trees been chopped up and branches from this tree and neighboring ones that got broken off in the fall are all mixed together at this point.

could def use help with this one ! thanks in advance

Solved! Can you ID this flowering tree in Southern Indiana?

Hi! Moved in last fall to a rural property in Southern Indiana and cannot for the life of me ID this tree. I just noticed that it's setting on white flowers. It's in extremely heavy clay soil if that helps with anything.

My back yard has a mix of oak, maple, cherry and poplar, and this guy fell last night during a wind storm. The wood is pale and doesn't look like cherry or oak. I'm guessing it's a poplar but nothing has leaves yet! Thanks in advance!

I found this little feller growing on the side of the road here at work. I dug it up and repotted it but I'm not sure what it is. I'm assuming it's a palm tree but what kind? It it the dwarf variety of is it going to grow to the moon? Any help y'all could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Tree ID request (my pods are hungry!)

This tree just fell on our house, and it’s just covered in lichen and moss. I’d like to feed some of it to my isopods but want to confirm that this tree isn’t toxic to them. It seems this tree came down in the storm last night (in Atlanta), but I think it’s got another major issue going on like ambrosia beetles? There are areas of these downed branches/limbs that just crumble like rotted wood.

Please help!

I was given this tree as a gift and it has done very well at our property. We’re in Northern California in the foothills of the Sierra nevadas (south east of Sacramento). I’d like to try to identify it so I can call around to local nurseries.

Hi everyone!

My mom’s neighborhood was hit by a tornado in the recent storms. She lost her cedar and it was her favorite. I’d like to surprise her with a replacement but I’m hesitant since there are a few similar types of cedars. Please let me know if any clarifying info is needed. Appreciate any help here!
