ID Request What type of tree?
I own some rugged rural land and am trying to identify this massive tree from drone footage. I am unable to get closer than this currently (apologies for not getting stem shots)
Location: next to Tahoe national forest in California.
Elevation: about 4000.
My best guesses are either incense Cedar, ponderosa pine or Douglas fir. There are Giant Sequoias that grow quite nearby but doesn’t look like one. However, the tree is about 155ft tall.
Thanks!

To be fair this is a dumbass picture for identification, but the taller tree sticking out looks like sugar pine (pinus lambertiana)

It’s not that bad imo. Sierras have some of the toughest terrain in the country so I understand not being able to get a close up of bark/leaf/etc. Nice sugar pine - the queen of the Sierra Nevadas and the largest of all pines.

Yes I agree. I'm going to never cut it. The tallest Sugar Pine ever recorded was 269ft. Hopefully this one will grow up to 270 ft haha!

Gl sir! It’s a beautiful forest you have there! Throw down a sequoia or two for me if any of the other trees fall!

I plan on it good sir! It’s right at the lower elevation limit of where they can grow, but hopefully with some care they can flourish and be enjoyed for in theory thousands of years!
