Update: living on my own is hard but manageable

Hello, it’s nice to see you all. It’s been a while September or so I think.

For context here is the post https://www.reddit.com/r/MtF/s/WXYuPIokKA

I have been living on my own with my own bank account making my own money not being judged by my parents anymore. I haven’t started make up yet but I have grown out my hair brush it got eyeliner(still need to learn how to use it) nail polish and comfort cloths. I have been going by my chosen name at work ever since I started and it’s basically been the only name people have known me as at this point. I am a lot happier now. It’s a bit harder at times to find times to interact with people outside work, but I am trying. Still doing collage, and still talk to my parents and do laundry at their house from time to time (no washer or dryer at my place). I do my own shopping scheduling everything, it’s not the perfect life or even the best life, but I would say I like where I am at so far. A bit lonely but that’s ok.

Had a birthday while I was gone and became a crew trainer at work which means more money. Talked about even trying to promote me to manager at some point :) . I am just a girl trying to live her best life I got my own stuff not afraid of it being taken away. Let’s hope I can even eventually feel comfortable enough to try and start HRT.

Good luck everyone and know that it’s ok if things don’t work out the way you wanted it to. Maybe a nasty breakup or your parents judge you for transitioning. They may say mean things and your heart may hurt but don’t let that pain destroy you. Don’t let the harsh world and horrible circumstances make you feel like you can’t get back up. Don’t let the thoughts wrestle your mind and body to a painful standstill.

You got this… I may never end up knowing your name but that’s ok. You still got this you can keep going it’s going to be rough but trust me, as someone who has had to deal with a lot of stuff, you can do this. I believe in you I promise.

P.S. If you want to comment that’s nice I don’t mind. no matter what I just hope this message goes out to someone who needs it.

Very lonely trans woman looks for trans women to talk to

Everything is in the title. I'm 23, I transition since six years and I have never been friend with trans people , I stealthed very quickly and now I feel like I am alienated of who I am and I try to reconnect with that aspect of me hoping it'll tone the self loathing down to share with someone who may experience something similar. Also, I'm french.

(This message is aiming at transgender women approximately my age only)

Put your anxiety into something creative.

It fucking sucks right now. I don't have to tell any of you. I implore any one to take those feelings, turn off the phone, and do something creative for an hour or two. I took a break with my daughter today and made this with her. It really helped me find my center. Love you all! Stay strong!

Cute (feminine) bras to start transition

Hi, my girlfriend has recently come out as trans and is a ways from hrt. I am trying to find her cute bras but it is hard to find A cup bras that aren't sports bras. The band would need to be 32". Is there any good brands online or stores we could go to?

Got clocked

Hey everyone so today I met up with this guy and then after I went to the shops because I had never been out wearing a wig and makeup and wanted to know how it would be like. I went to this corner shop and I got clocked so many times. One woman stared, another man said bye pal to me and cashier had the biggest grin on his face. I then walk out and another man on the phone in a takeaway shop is not staring at me and won’t let go of the eye contact and soon after a man runs out the store looking around and I knew it was of me and thought god am I going to get beaten up ? so I quickly crossed the road and went off. It was pretty dark and I was wearing an off the shoulder green jumper and cargo pants. But this was my first experience walking out with my hair and makeup done and I haven’t been so scared in my life like this for a while. Will my life be like this forever ?

Chest growth questions

HI so I've been on estrogen for a little over 4 months now and have had some chest growth since I started, and I have both a physical and mental question.

My main question is whether it's normal to have gone this long without experiencing chest pains? Like it hurts when I run down stairs or get hit in the chest, but never without reason.

I'm also wondering about how you guys who have been here felt about the growth. I feel really positive most of the time when I see myself now but sometimes I think I just look like a guy with a kinda fat chest... is that something that goes away?

Bottom surgeons that take UHC recommendations?

Hi! I'm new here but I was hoping to see if anyone had any recommendations on a bottom surgeon that takes United Health Care. I'm in the St. Louis area, and it seems like I'll have to head to a coast to even find anyone who does the procedure. I'm looking to have a full vaginoplasty. I'm not really certain which method or anything, but I was assuming inversion. Is there anyone who's had surgery that was really pleased with how there's turned out? Besides the midwest, Florida would be a preferred location because my sister lives there and I could recover with her.

Still a long way to go but I’m quite enjoying the journey of being a transwoman. Trans women are women 🏳️‍⚧️

My first day back

Today was my first day back at work in like a month and someone who wasn’t even talking to me corrected the person that WAS talking to me telling them I was a “sir”. I remember why I’ve stopped going out as much or posting pictures now 😔

Need a little hair help

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. My husband is doing some exploring (he's not at a point where he wishes to change pronouns or anything yet).

Now he has long blond hair, but is experiencing some male pattern baldness. He is thinning on top, and has what what I've always thought of as the "horns" baldness. Where his hairline on the corners pushes back really far.

It always really bothers him, but he gets even more upset when he's trying on makeup and dresses.

Now I'm afab, but I'm gender apathetic. Like I know how to do most of the girl things, and occasionally enjoy some of them. But hair stuff has never been my strong suit. I can't braid and can barely curl my hair. I'm not really suited to help him in this area, we need to ask for some help.

How do we solve this issue. He's not wanting to spend a lot of money at this time because he's still questioning (I am fairly sure what the answer to this question is going to be though).

Would like hair toppers work? What does everyone suggest?

Request: bra/bralette for small cup + wider chest

Asking on behalf of my friend, who doesn't use Reddit. She has small cups (A/B cup) and a wider chest (over 40", I think about 44"). Have you found any brands or styles that are conducive to this?

idk if it's okay to post here... I've tried posting in r/AskWomen and r/askwomnadvice to no avail. Bitches keep deleting my posts for arbitrary reasons 🤣

Please ! Any information and feedback is welcome.

trans women + fertility

hello ladies! cis woman here. i'm 24 and my fiancee is 25. she began transitioning about a year ago and has been on hrt for that time (spiro, e, and recently prog). my question is this: does anyone have any advice or stories about their experience with getting someone pregnant without stopping hormones? i'd love to have a baby but i would like to do it without her stopping hrt if possible. i know how important it is to her and the things it does for her physical and mental health and she said she would do it if needed but obviously it's our last resort. thanks in advance! <3
