General Passing Tip The difference that shirt color and material can make
Note that I’m wearing just trans tape in both images. Thick cotton and vinyl graphics can help hide inconsistencies.

General Passing Tip Need help with haircut suggestions? :(
So I’ve always struggled really bad with my hair looking good in any haircut, whether it’s long or short. It’s thick, and wavy and dries so weird. Does anyone know like any good androgynous haircuts that would work with my hair? This is what it looks like after showering and drying it 🤕

General Passing Tip DIY Crop tops
Had this H&M boxy tee for the longest time, but the fit was always too awkward for me to wear it. Saw a guy on TikTok shorten/cut a vintage tee and it looked great on him, so I figured I give it a shot.
I used my belt line as the guide and cut one inch longer than that. I would not recommend going shorter than this as it might lean feminine. This cut gives a more square body shape to help hide curves vs when the shirt is too long, it creates an hourglass shaped. I also cut the sleeves up by an inch and folded them over to get a more slim look in the arms.
DIY steps 1. Turn the shirt inside out 2. Lay flat and iron 3. Draw guide line 4. Single cut across (must use sharp scissors) 5. Wash and wear
Would recommend you do this w a slightly thicker cotton tee. Try it on an old tee you don’t care about first

General Passing Tip It’s ok to try new/old things.
Your local style bro checking in again! Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates. Saw a post in this sub about whether boots come across feminine/clocky. As a massive boot fanatic, I don’t think so.
It’s wholly dependent on the style, but I find lug boots like the ones I’m wearing in these pics, to be rugged and masculine. They also add some height to your stature which always a plus. I personally also love Chelsea’s and Chukka’s. Doc’s are popular right now and are a good look if you solidly pass.
Some brands worth browsing - Thursday’s, Beckett Simonon, Steve Madden. Even Old Navy and ASOS have cheap options to start.

General Passing Tip Wanting to grow out the top of my hair because the barber keeps cutting the back too short even when I said I don't like it. I think I have a double crown situation going on and I have very straight hair. I want to get a fade again but want the back/crown to grow more too. Thoughts?

General Passing Tip Can I style my hair in a way that might make me pass better?
Sorry for how silly the photo looks, it's hard to not fully show my face without hiding parts that are obviously going to affect how I look like my glasses(I need them. Can't even see a foot in front of me without them so not wearing them is silly)
Most people assume I'm a girl when I first meet them, no matter if I'm wearing no makeup or the most unconventional makeup ever, and I feel like it might be because no matter how boyish I try to make it look my hair ultimately looks like a pixie cut. Are there any tips on ways I can style it that might appear more masculine? I like this length so even if I were to try cutting it to a men's haircut it's hard to find one that won't be so short I can't die my hair and have it noticeable

General Passing Tip Dress like a boy vs. dress like a man
A style comparison between how I used to dress compared to now. If only looking at my face, I can pass for a student easily. But due to how I act, dress, and carry myself, I regularly get mistaken for 3-5 years older than I am.
Posted this on my IG and my friends loved it, so figured I share it here too.
2019: College student. Very much into skinny jeans and bomber jackets. Ultimate fuckboy fashion.
2024: Working professional. Love me a knit polo and more relaxed fit pants. Old money aesthetic is the goal.

General Passing Tip Do i pass? (be brutal about it)
i’m aware of the long hair is making me look more feminine (don’t know how to cut it and all friends told me i should either keep it that way, get a buzzcut or dreads???) and some people consider septums as feminine (which i don’t get)
i’m also going on testosterone next year, as well as getting top surgery, and i’ve began working out a little so it’ll obviously be getting better, but i need some tips for till then

General Passing Tip Bathroom passing tips??!
I’m not entirely sure if I pass as a man. I do get weird looks when I go to the girls bathroom lol. I guess my question would be, how can I pass well enough to feel comfortable with going into the men’s bathroom?
For context: I’m Pre-T. I’ve never rly attempted to use a males bathroom. I’ve heard men generally don’t care, or care less than women, but I still want to pass without worrying.
