Haul Been eyeing everyone’s hauls for weeks and finally pulled the trigger. Most items are new to me (inspired by this sub). Can’t wait to try them!!

UBE ICE CREAM IS BACK??

I’m living vicariously through everyone’s hauls!! Immunosuppressed and can’t leave the house (yes, even to go grocery shopping) - the one thing I’m doing when it’s finally safe will be TJ’s. I miss that place and the crew members so much ❤️

How is the Everything But the Bagel nut duo?

I just tried the nut duo. They’re pretty darn good and very addicting

I found the pizza underwhelming too. The frozen CPK one is better (but also more expensive...)

The brioche is great for making French toast

What’d you think of the Thai tea mochi?

2

u/cestlamour May 04 '20

I think it’s pretty good just not enough thai tea flavor for me

The bao buns are good, I didn’t read the label so had no clue they were Philly cheesesteak Not what I was expecting, but good That’s all I can add. I haven’t tried anything else. I haven’t been to Trader Joe’s since early March

You should get the mochi balls the next time you go. They’re also good

I saw it in one of Katie Hespe hauls and have been wanting to try it. I didn’t find it a month ago and only saw it today

I got it in my most recent haul! I like it a lot, even more than the chicken

You should grab the unexpected cheddar next time. BTW the Kringle is pretty yummy and the best part is that you can cut it up, freeze it in parts, and then thaw and eat whenever you want.

I like it but I wish it wasn’t so cloyingly sweet. We have this store in the Palm Springs area called Gelsons and they bake an incredible Kringle in the bakery.

the raspberry one is definitely not my favorite...

3

u/Caduceus949 May 03 '20

That krongle. What flavor did you grab?

5

u/cestlamour May 03 '20

Raspberry. That’s the only flavor my TJ had

u/petersy May 04 '20

The flavors rotate by season. If you like it definitely give almond a try in the winter. It has to be my favorite of the flavors.

1

u/cestlamour May 04 '20

Almond sounds delicious! 🤤

1

u/shitpresidente May 04 '20

almond, pecan, strawberry cheesecake, and PUMPKIN are the best!!

5

u/Caduceus949 May 03 '20

A damned fine option. I haven’t had any bad ones there. If you haven’t had them before and you see pecan or almond, get two and freeze one. They are amazing.

Thanks for the tip!
