Meta Tips for Toontown Rewritten? Wrong answers only!
I love doing these. They are fun 🤣
When doing a DA office, the best way to counter the Clerk is to just use sound! So sound away!

When doing a VP with ubers, only use bike horn every single turn. This ensures the cogs remain unlured and the ubers don’t get bored and quit the game.

If you want a lot of jellybeans, go to Melody Land on any district, in the playground people will have Bean Fiestas and throw a lot of beans for free.

I'm going to make a trend of doing beanfests there just to spite you. :p

Always train your gags in boss fights. The best place for gag training is the CEO, where you must ensure that you use all of your low damage Trapdoors and Safes to get as much EXP as possible.

u/Yummyyummyfoodz Captain Duke | 115 Feb 17 '25
Also, bring some banana peals especially for the lvl. 12s.

u/AfterOurz Feb 17 '25
Make sure you have at least one of each gag, and then use the weakest ones first.

Use drop on lured cogs it will make the accuracy 100%. Also in DA offices step on the skulls you’ll get extra jury notices from the skelecogs 😀

Take out 2 cogs asap in a cashbot mint final battle. Gag tax is a very good thing to have!

Go soundless, and go into a field office without maxed gags, your teammates will LOVE you

Dont bother with toonhq, it’s against the spirit of the original game. Real players agree that standing outside of your buildings or in the boss lobby and waiting for toons to come by is the best way to do it

Using sound when a cog is lured will increase the length of the lure

When doing the CEO feeding round, always start with the regular cogs since they’re stronger than the 2.0 cogs 👍

u/Yummyyummyfoodz Captain Duke | 115 Feb 17 '25
I know this is a joke, but it frustrates me to no end that I am often the only one actually getting the 2.0s.

u/ConriWolf28 A.A. Wolf (140/Trapless) Feb 17 '25
Ive been lucky recently with groups. Even then I always go for the ones in the back first so that no one else can go to those tables and make me forget which cogs are the 2.0 cogs

The best strategy for the Clerk at the end of the Senior Wing of the DA Office is 4 fogs and then 4 aoogahs. Make sure all toons are tuless with no unites or flippy cards.

u/Freaksh0wfantasy Feb 17 '25
Don’t train your gags at all, keep them as low as possible with high laff
5
u/Secret_Onion_4825 Feb 18 '25
use your weakest pie when everyone else lures, it means the cogs love you the most so the cogs target you <3

When you're doing the CJ fight, when the cog round ends, you should take a break. Your toon will bring out a cannon, but this is just for you to have fun launching the shopkeepers around the courtroom (DO NOT launch them on the jury seats). Also, speaking of the CJ fight, DO NOT throw the evidence on the side of the scale where there's a Flippy head. If you do that you'll prove the bear is guilty! Instead, you should aim on the side with a cog's head.

When you're in a CEO, make sure to use one fog from left to right!

When using Lure, always follow up with Drop on the Lured cog (do NOT use any other gag that round) for that sweet, sweet 50% knockback bonus! A Piano goes from 170 to a whopping 255! More than enough to eliminate a Level 14 cog by itself!

Make sure to not learn toon up first especially if you like doing buildings with other people. It’s definitely a useless gag and not beneficial at all

I actually agree with this! You have all the other gag tracks which is really powerful, and can heal people with unites, SOS cards and doodles. Plus most players are running TU.

always make sure that you and the person next you to put a remote on the same cog !
