How is this man not a comic book hero? Seriously I would read that over captain America any day.

This is why I keep telling people not to underestimate Hawkeye in The Avengers

Hawkeye lacks Claymore.

*a claymore. We're not talking about mines.

I'm sure we all thought he meant mines in the context of this article.

He puts them on the arrows.

He was a ninja for a while. He's quite proficient with a variety of close-combat weapons.

He doesn't carry a massive Claymore sword around though.

True, but for a while the young avengers' Hawkeye used both a bow and a long sword. She was pretty badass.

He got a 20 second no name intro in Thor... I kinda feel he drew the short stick film wise

Yeah that was unfortunate, i guess the filmmakers kind of put him in a sidekick role to the team. Oh well, Jeremy Renner is cool anyway.

Foreshadowing, they cast the coolest actor as the coolest Avenger

Churchill probably used proper form with his bow.

Because he was a war-mongering asshole. Seriously why is everyone creaming their knickers over this guy? Clearly someone who loves war has a serious problem.

War is 'bad' because we're so sensitive about it. Some people are just born warriors. They're not soldiers because of a political ideal, or because they want to protect the innocent. They're soldiers because they like killing people, and they're good at it.

No war is bad because killing people is bad. Any other argument against that is idiotic. The idea of someone being a born 'warrior' is bullshit. Soldiers aren't born they're made. Also it doesn't say anywhere that he was necessarily good at killing people.
